Sleeping

Some of the funniest stories we have are from checking on Lincoln before we go to bed. One time I walked in to check on him about 2 hours after he fell asleep and he was sitting up in bed with his eyes wide open just staring at nothing. It kind of creeped me out to be honest so I told him to go to sleep and he laid down and went right to sleep. Well, a few days ago Thomas and I went in together to check on him and this is what we found...

That can't be comfortable! On a completely opposite topic I have to point out I have a pretty cheap camera but this picture was taken in the dark. I'd say I got my money's worth!

Lincoln is a Secor boy!!

Lincoln had surgery awhile ago and to help him recover Jimmy and Kira got him the best toy ever! He didn't realize how great of a toy it really was until recently. It's a ball and a glove but the glove has velcro to help him catch. Side note, please notice his balled up fist inside the glove, we haven't perfected his grip yet...

We play with it all day long and when we're not playing catch he still watches tv with it on. This boy is a true Secor!

Petting zoo

Last weekend we went with Jimmy, Kira, and Jordan to the Salt Lake County Fair which was sadly a big let down but they did have a pretty cool petting zoo.

Do you want the great news or the bad news?

First lets start with the not so great news- my camera can no longer put pictures on the computer which is why I haven't posted anything in a long time. I thought I found a way to put them on our Ipad, which I did, however you can't put them from the Ipad to the blog or facebook. Lame I know. So until I get a new camera, I'll just post stories.
Now for the GREAT news!!! Lincoln is going to be a BIG BROTHER!!! We are due Feb. 12, 2012 which just so happens to be my birthday. We are extremely excited and can't wait for this addition to our family!!!

Potty time

I turned on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to distract Lincoln while I ran to the restroom. Not even ten seconds later there was a knock on the door, followed by a whimper "mama mama!" so I looked towards the door and four tiny fingers have somehow managed their way under the door and are wiggling at me. I thought it was cute that after only ten seconds apart he missed me so I walked over and open the door...I don't know, I guess I expected a hug or a smile. Instead he didn't even look at me, he literally pushed pass me, opened his potty lid (side note, yes he has a potty but no, I haven't even thought of potty training him yet) and he sat down on it. And then he gave me the "a little privacy please" look and so I left the room wondering what just happened...
